Glass Breakage Policy

While glass looks solid it actually isn’t. As it gets older it gets thinner at the top then the bottom, also older windows often have glass that is thinner than regulations permit today. Seals around glass can also be an issue as they ‘glue’ themselves to the glass and are very difficult to remove.

Lock & Roll therefore cannot accept responsibility for glass broken during repair and maintenance of windows and door as the glass condition remains unknown until the glass is removed and may be subject to cracking for reasons outside our control.
